On June 1 temporary rerouting of all Steel Bridge lines will take place. Along with it, the Fareless Square will be chopped into two, effectively making the Lloyd District free services meaningless. As of this writing there is no word from TriMet whether it will expand the Fareless Square to include the Broadway and Burnside bridges. So my assumption is that TriMet is using this chance to divide and conquer the Fareless Square in a way no one could think of in the past.
